Copyright and DMCA policy
Last updated: 2026-10-01
We respect intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
1. How to send a copyright notice
Use the contact form and choose the topic “Copyright notice”. The form asks for each element below. A notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site you say infringes, with its URL.
- Your contact information, including an email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
2. Counter-notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the contact form. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action.
3. False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages.
4. Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. If we ever publish material contributed by others, we will stop accepting material from anyone who repeatedly infringes.
5. Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification, including the sender’s contact details, to the party concerned.
